DESCRIPTION
In the beginning there was an idea that a few dared to dream and that was spoken about in muted whispers. The whispers grew into cries for freedom that created a monument to human history. A new country, Pakistan, became a reality.
Shortly after, however, the father of the people died and the nation lost its direction. A group of retired professionals who had not lost sight of the original dream came together to form a core of resistance. They vowed to save Pakistan.
They defined The Project which envisioned a prosperous and modern state by the end of 2030, intending to bring back eighty billion dollars from foreign banks that had been looted from the treasury. They feared that the country would collapse if power was not taken away from the corrupt politicians, mullahs, bureaucrats, judges, high ranking police and military officers, and the feudal lords. Black lists were drawn out and evidence was compiled. Then, the group got intelligence that India and Iran planned to divide Pakistan between them with Russian help. The Board worked at staying in control behind the scenes to make sure that the country remained intact and that the military did not attempt another coup...
